Scarborough Sixth Form College is the main Sixth Form College provider for Scarborough, providing A levels, BTECs, & GCSEs in Scarborough.
Scarborough Sixth Form College needed a new website, clearly connected and part of the S6F brand, which are also capable of having their design elements re-invented on a regular basis (at least once a year). The website also needed to function as an informational portal, easy access points (for VLE / Emails etc) but also as a powerful marketing and communications tool to attract new students, to help strengthen their positions in the industry and provide credibility to any potential partnerships.
After the assessment, we came to the following plan. We would help them by creating a website that would fulfil the following roles…
- Providing information on admissions – for prospective students and parents
- Offer information on finance and travel
- Encourage students to apply online and link to the application
- Provide course information
- Promote evening courses
- A clear and prominent interaction between the main S6F website and the apprenticeship website
- Advertise vacancies at the college
- Promote facility hire and lettings to the local community
- Attract and educate potential customers.
